Pricing

A seat starts at $7,500 per month.

That buys one active build stream: one thing at a time, in your priority order, until it is done and deployed. A second seat, meaning a second stream running in parallel, starts at $6,500. Billed monthly in advance. Pause or cancel any time.

First seat

from $7,500 / month

One active build stream. Everything below is included in it.

Second seat

from $6,500 / month

A second stream, running at the same time as the first. Add or drop it month to month.

These are starting numbers, not a rate card. Heavier work lands above them and lighter work lands below. You will know your number before anything is signed, and it does not change afterwards unless you ask it to.

And who it is for

Pricing questions

How much does it cost to hire someone to build internal AI tools?
At Aetenum a seat starts at $7,500 per month and covers one active build stream, worked one item at a time until it is done. That includes scoping, architecture, build, deployment, documentation and handover. Agencies typically quote per project and range widely. A full-time senior developer in the United States generally costs more once salary, benefits and management time are counted.
Why is the price a starting point rather than a fixed rate?
Because the work is not uniform. A seat pointed at a straightforward internal tool is not the same as a seat pointed at a regulated data migration. Some engagements land above the starting number and some land below it. You will know which before you sign anything, and the number does not move afterwards without you agreeing to it.
What is a seat?
One seat is one active build stream. One thing is worked at a time, until it is done, in the priority order you set. It is not a number of hours and it is not a person you manage.
Is there a setup fee or a discovery fee?
No. Scoping every item is part of the seat. You are not billed separately to find out what you need.
What is the minimum commitment?
One month. There is no long-term contract, no notice period and no minimum term.
What happens to money if I pause?
Pausing does not refund. It banks the unused days, and they roll forward to whenever you resume. Banked days do not expire.
Do you do fixed-bid projects?
No. A fixed bid requires pretending the scope is fully known at the start, and it usually is not. If you want a fixed bid for a finished application, a development agency is the right kind of company for that and I will say so.
Are licenses and hosting included?
No. Third-party licenses, hosting and vendor fees are billed to you directly by those vendors. I will tell you what something costs before it gets added to your stack.

If the number works, the next step is a call

Thirty minutes. You describe what broke and what it is costing you. I tell you whether a seat is the right answer for it, and what your number would actually be.

If the number does not work, that is a useful outcome too, and it cost you nothing to find out.
